Addiction Recovery Care was proud to accept the Eastern Kentucky Recovery award during the first annual Shaping Our Appalachian Region (SOAR) Gala.
The award is presented to an individual, group or organization who works on the frontlines of Kentucky’s addiction crisis. The award is designed to recognize efforts of training, employment, the establishing of education pathways, serving families, and helping communities through collaborative efforts and innovative thinking.
“As someone who has watched ARC grow from the beginning, it is such an honor to receive the Eastern Kentucky Recovery Award,” said ARC’s Vice President of Marketing Vanessa Keeton. “Just knowing that we are being recognized not only for addiction treatment but our job training program, educational programs and just helping people get work-ready, we are thrilled and honored to allow this award to represent the thousands of lives we have helped to change in the Appalachian region.”
Vanessa accepted the award alongside Addiction Recovery Care Human Resources manager Megan Connelley – both of which are in recovery.
